Absolutely failtacular. Thor was punching the crap out of Superman in Marvel and DC's Avengers vs JL crossover, and Thor wasn't even at 1/3 his actual strength, which is absolutely nothing compared to his abilities now. ALTER REALITY. Where is that lost on you? Being surrounded in ice means nothing. The funny part about the "million pieces" argument is that a guy who has no defense against magic and who's less than 1/3 as strong as Thor will never reduce Thor to being in millions of pieces. The comic companies already proved that Thor would beat Superman in their crossover; since, Superman's only gotten weaker and Thor's grown infinitely more powerful.

Hahaha, Superman wasn't even trying, he was basically standing there and saying "Hit Me". He never speed blitzed him, he never punched him as hard as he could, and he didn't use any key moves to do anything.

Then tell your friends to re-read the comic. Just judging from the blood loss, facial expressions, torn costume, contusions and bodily damage I can pretty much guarantee you Superman wasn't holding back a whole lot. Especially not if he needed to borrow Mjolnir and Cap's shield (which he did) to get his job done.
