This is a specific thread for our new President, Barack Obama.

-How will he do in office compared to Bush?
-Where do we go from here?
-Will Obama fix Bush's mistakes for the better or for the worst?
-How will the war in Iraq end?

He's a great speaker

I think he will do fine given time

I am a huge Obama supporter. I was rooting for him throughout his campaign and I was ecstatic when he one. I do realize however that so far, he hasn't really done anything yet. Plus he has had a couple goofs like the Special Olympics one. But he is willing to say that it is his fault (not like Bush) and I do believe that he can help fix this country.

I am not into politics, but if there's anyone who can fix problems. Obama can do it

I agree. Obama is a great speaker and is doing well. The only problem is, some people worship Obama as if he's God.

I really hope Obama can fix Bush's mistakes, you see I put mistakes plural. Bush screwed up the country, and I believe Obama can fix it. I believe in Barack Obama.

I think Obama would make a marvelous President for any European country. As for America, well, you never hire a Socialist to fix a Capitalist system. That's just the way it goes.

I wouldn't call him a socialist. He just makes business a little more "fair".

Obama on last nite

Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing anymore than anybody else knows what he is doing. He just used his fancy vocabulary, and empty promises to lure all the college students and liberals who think America's problems can be fixed.
