Like the force, but also ki such as used in DBZ, and any other telekinetic forces.
If a non force sensitive person is levitated by the force, it doesn’t matter how strong they are (since you can’t apply physical strength without any physical friction), they are helpless, unless they can fly like Superman (who can apply power in the air), or weigh more than the force/ki user can comfortably lift.
In fights between people who can both use the force, we don’t see this effect (unless one is enormously more powerful than the other), because they cancel each other out.
The same is true in DBZ (and extra since they can fly) since the characters can levitate enormous weights (Frieza lifted a mountain-like chunk of land, Piccolo lifted the pyramids, Goku lifted some kind of stone monument thing) with their mind, but the other character’s ki would overpower this effect, unless they’re vastly unequal like when Frieza levitated Krillen.
In a fight with people who don’t have access to these powers or cannot fly, and have to rely on strength, can’t we assume that as long as their weight can be comfortably lifted, and they can be hurt physically, that they’d get curb stomped by someone physically weaker with telekinetic powers?
Like a psychic weed could own Captain America, and there’s no real limit, so if that power was strong enough, they could even own the Hulk (since he has no way to get out of it). This seems obvious, but a lot of people haven’t been taking this into account in threads. "
